PR PARADIGM / JOURNAL
Ideas worth carrying forward.
There is a lot of noise out there, and many companies tend to position their story and services with the same language. How does a brand earn a truly distinctive voice?
Authenticity has become one of the defining challenges for public relations today. Brands are often focused on securing airtime in the media, yet journalists are flooded every day with announcements that feel increasingly similar, interchangeable in tone, structure, and substance. Beyond artificial intelligence, this uniformity is also reinforced when PR content is shaped through a field marketing lens rather than a public relations one.
What both journalists and businesses are now looking for is singularity: a distinctive point of view, a recognizable voice, and thought leadership that feels credible, human, and grounded in real experience.
Press relations should not be about adding more noise. They should help bring forward true experts and deliver meaningful, useful contributions to public conversation.
The goal today is definitely not to speak louder, but to speak with greater meaning.
